Answers to Indiana Pacers two truths and a lie

The lie for each Pacers player is in bold text.

Myles Turner

Though it may be a desire of his, it has not been documented that Turner desires to own a ranch in his post-playing career.

Myles Turner’s mother did hold him out of AAU games due to his academic performance once, according to an article he penned for The Player’s Tribune.

"One time I got a 79 in algebra and she made me sit out all of my AAU games until I raised it up to a B. Growing up, I was never allowed to watch TV on weekdays. At school, my friends would be like, “Did you see that episode of Family Guy last night?” and I’d always be like, “Nope.” That sucked."

Myles Turner grew up and went to college in Texas. During the quarantine and in the offseason Turner heads back to the Dallas area.

Jeremy Lamb

Jeremy Lamb’s agents are Jeff Schwartz and Javon Phillps, per RealGM.

He did, in fact, leave MJ speechless with a cold-blooded buzzer-beater once:

Lamb was picked 12th overall, in the lottery.

Malcolm Brogdon

Malcolm Brogdon was actually the second VCU player to win NBA Rookie of the Year. Ralph Sampson was the first.

Though he has half the NBA experience of Anthony Davis, Malcolm Brogdon is older than AD due to the four years Brogdon spent at VCU by about three months.

Brogdon does hold a degree in public policy, giving even more weight to the “President” nickname he’s gained in the NBA. .

T.J. Warren

T.J. Warren plays quite a bit of pro-am ball in the offseason:

Warren does have his “24” retired by the Wolfpack. His dad wore the same number as well at NC State.

Warren has been to a hockey game, he’s been an honorary guest of the Carolina Hurricanes on at least one occasion.

Domantas Sabonis

According to a CBS Sports profile, one of the first things Sabonis did when landing to play college basketball at Gonzaga was puke from homesickness.

Sabonis’s mother was Miss Lithuania in the late 80s according to a profile on him at NBA.com.

Sabonis has two brothers and a sister.

T.J. McConnell

T.J. McConnell was forced to pay a cover at XFinity Live!, the premier sports bar in the Philly sports complex right after playing for the Sixers because he didn’t have a ticket stub from the game.

That we know of, McConnell does not own a food truck.

McConnell is the 19th fastest player in the NBA in terms of average speed.

Justin Holiday

Justin Holiday played his junior season at Washington.

Justin Holiday won a championship as an end of the bench player with the Golden State Warriors in 2015.

Aaron and Justin were in fact the first two brothers to each score 20+ points in the same game.

Victor Oladipo

Oladipo was “Thingamajig” on The Masked Singer.

Oladipo was caught off guard with the trade to the Pacers, as he detailed in an article with The Player’s Tribune. He did not request for Domantas to come with him, but was glad he’d be joining him in Indy. The duo has been traded together twice now.

Oladipo does have a twin sister.
