Indiana Pacers securing key victories

Within the aforementioned stretch, no Ws were more significant than the victories over the Lakes and Celtics. Just six days apart, the Pacers held serve and the home court to both Eastern and Western conference favorites and managed to stymy off both opponents.

Against Boston, a 122-117 win, Indiana shot 48 percent from the field while going to the line 36 times, converting on 30.

The Pacers were led by six players who scored in double figures on that night but none were more impressive than Malcolm Brogdon who tallied 29 points and 8 rebounds.

Aaron Holiday also came off the bench, going 8-of-9 from the field and aided the Pacers in a come from behind win, one in which they trailed by 10 in the fourth. The Pacers win would go on to be sealed by the defense of Warren who pressured Kemba Walker into a missed three that would have gone on to tie the game in regulation.

The Pacers second notable victory, one against the Los Angeles Lakers at home, was highlighted by six players in double figures including 16 from Myles Turner, who also added 7 rebounds.

The biggest play of the night didn’t register in the box score when Turner found himself guarding LeBron James and forcing the All-Star into a missed jumper.

The pivotal bucket would have been a game-tying three with less than 20 seconds left in the game and a key defensive play by Turner aided the Pacers in the 105-102 win.
