The NBA’s currently suspended season has three likely outcomes. Here’s how each would impact the Indiana Pacers.

For nearly two weeks now, the NBA season has been suspended for the Indiana Pacers and the other 29 teams due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

There is no end in sight, frankly. The season is going to be suspended for at least 30 days, but based on Adam Silver’s comments and the warnings and precautions being suggested by the CDC and local governments, a return in June at the earliest seems likely.

Questions surrounding what a return actually looks like are flying. The season, even if it is simply resumed where it left off, will be unique due to the dates being offset by months. We are now looking at the regular season potentially resuming when the NBA Draft is normally taking place.

Thankfully, fans don’t have to stress about making decisions for the NBA. Adam Silver, the league office, and the board of governors need to handle that. We are curious, though, about the main possibilities that the league could be looking at and how each of those might impact the Indiana Pacers.

There are three likely ways the season could resume. Each of them will impact the Pacers in a different way.

Let’s take a look.
