The Indiana Pacers take on the New York Knicks tonight in Victor Oladipo’s second game back. Here is everything you need to know going in.

The initial Victor Oladipo results are in: He’s still clutch. The rest of that first night was ehhh, but that doesn’t really matter. There is still so much time to figure everything out (and to get into game shape). Tonight is a chance for him do something against an old Indiana Pacers rival, the New York Knicks.

The Pacers enter the game still sitting in the five seed in the East, but are only a game and a half out of the three spot. Now with their first time All-Star Domantas Sabonis finally getting the recognition Indiana fans knew he deserved, they can continue to climb the standings. His play with the bench unit will continue to create huge mismatches tonight.

The Knicks on the other hand are not vying for playoff spots. Nobody really knows what they are vying for. They have several tradable contracts, but are looking less and less likely to rid themselves of them before the deadline. They are currently tied for last in the East and have journeymen still taking minutes from their youngsters. Expect more than a few ill-advised shots from players like Marcus Morris and Julius Randle.

Ultimately, this should be the easiest game before All-Star Weekend, the following six games feature five playoffs teams and the New Orleans Pelicans.  The Knicks have tons of bigs and love to trot out odd line-up configurations. The Pacers should be able to use their guard- and wing-heavy line-ups to give them a lot of trouble on the defensive end.

When it comes to the other aspects of the game, here’s everything else you need to know:
