The Indiana Pacers are traveling to Salt Lake City to take on the Jazz in a game between two of the hottest teams in the association.

The Indiana Pacers will face the Utah Jazz for the final time during the regular season in Salt Lake City tonight. The Pacers are coming a big come back win in Denver Sunday night as they trailed by as much as 11 in the third quarter, but ultimately won 115-107. They will be looking to extend their winning streak to six games tonight as well.

Indiana comes in tied for the four seed in the East at 28-15, but hold only a 3-3 record on the second night of back-to-backs. That being said, the Blue and Gold handled their business in the first match-up with the Jazz in November. In that game, the Pacers used a strong second half to bury Utah with the final score being 121-102. Three different Pacers scored 20 points or more that night.

Unfortunately, this Jazz team seems to have turned the corner. After starting poorly, they have won 17 of their last 20 games. They have stormed up the West’s standings and currently find themselves in tied for the three seed at 29-13. Excellent all-around play from Donovan Mitchell, coupled with the scoring chops of former Pacer Bojan Bogdanovic and the rim protection of Rudy Gobert, the Jazz are starting to look like the juggernaut they were expected to be.

This will also be Indianapolis native Mike Conley‘s second game back after missing 14 games through injury. Add in the monster 22-point, 15-rebound triple-double Domantas Sabonis handed out against the Nuggets, there is a lot to be excited about. This will be a clash of two of the forgotten powers in the NBA and potentially the best game of the entire MLK Day slate.
