The Indiana Pacers look to win their second game in a row against the Minnesota Timberwolves, this time in Indianapolis.

The Indiana Pacers come into Friday looking to take both ends of their back-to-back games against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Pacers were able to narrowly win Wednesday’s game in Minneapolis thanks to a huge 29 point, 13 rebound, and 6 assist game from Domantas Sabonis. The performance was something Indiana fans hadn’t seen since 2007.

This second game in Indianapolis will feature one less former Pacer than Wednesday did. Jeff Teague along with Treveon Graham were dealt to the Atlanta Hawks yesterday in exchange for Allen Crabbe. The deal is likely a sign for more moves to come for the Wolves as injuries have derailed their season.

Currently sitting 13th in the West at 15-25, the Timberwolves will be trying to end their 3-game losing streak. They may again be without their All-NBA center Karl-Anthony Towns, who is questionable due to illness. This could be a deciding factor in the contest, as Minnesota is 5-11 in games Towns has missed this season.

The Pacers on the other hand are winners of four of their last five and sit 5th in the East at 26-15. Where the Wolves didn’t have the depth to handle injuries, the Pacers constantly have someone step up when called upon. Malcolm Brogdon looked more like his old self Wednesday, tallying 21 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds on 9-18 shooting. Getting more of the same will undoubtedly give the Pacers the edge tonight.
