The Indiana Pacers have got things rolling after a win last night in Minnesota against Timberwolves. The Pacers are currently on a three-game win streak and are serious contenders in the Eastern Conference.

In a game that favored the Timberwolves for much of the first half, the Pacers were able to withstand the storm and leave the Target Center with a win.

A valiant performance by Domantas Sabonis propelled the Pacers over the Timberwolves in a crucial road-win that was the first leg of playing Minnesota twice in a three-day span.

In addition to Sabonis’ success, the Pacers’ second unit shined in Minnesota.

Led by Doug McDermott, the Pacers bench gave the team life down the stretch as the Pacers managed to earn a win over a team that is better than its record indicates.

In giving the Pacers a run for their money, the Timberwolves had a slew of contributors. That included a 15-point performance by Keita Bates-Diop off the bench.

Former Pacer Jeff Teague also had a solid evening as Minnesota’s reserve point guard. Teague would finish with nine points.

Rookie Jarrett Culver also had a nice evening that included 17 points and five rebounds. However, Minnesota’s collective effort wasn’t enough to beat the trending Pacers.

Here’s how the Pacers graded in the 104-99 win over the Timberwolves:
