The Indiana Pacers are in New Orleans tonight as they take on the Alvin Gentry led Pelicans. Tonight’s game is a special occasion for one NBA family.

The Indiana Pacers are in New Orleans to take on the Pelicans in The Smoothie King Center after a narrow loss to the Miami Heat.

Indiana will be looking to bounce back with a chip on its shoulder. However, for two Pacers, tonight’s game holds a different weight.

Aaron and Justin Holiday will be facing their brother, Jrue.

So far this season, the trio has been off to a fantastic start collectively and is making an argument for the best combination of brothers in the NBA.

In competing with the likes of Robin & Brook Lopez, Markieff & Marcus Morris, and Seth Curry & Stephen Curry, the success of the Holiday brothers is nothing to gloss over.

Jrue is having a career-year. The guard is currently averaging 19.7 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

Jrue has had 15 games of scoring 20+ points including a 36-point performance in November against Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers.

Jrue’s consistency during this early portion of the season has placed him into NBA All-Star game consideration.

On the Pacers side, Aaron and Justin have been integral to the team’s success this season.

Aaron has earned 13 starts so far this year after having none in 2018-2019.

The point guard has also improved statistically as he is averaging 10.5 points, three assists while shooting 41% from beyond the arc.

That is up from an average of 5.9 points, one assist and 33% from three-pointer range last season.

Aaron Holiday, like his brother Jrue, is making a statement as a guard you must respect.

In the midst of his eleventh season, Justin has made a mark as an undrafted player throughout his career.

Now in a reserve role with the Pacers, Justin has been helping the team each night as they look to climb the Eastern Conference ladder.

Justin is averaging 7.6 points a game which is his career-best as a non-starter which is exactly why the Pacers’ front office felt it was necessary to add him to the mix in an effort to add depth to the roster.

Justin has been key on the defensive end. His length and athleticism have allowed him to defend some of the NBA’s best at a high-level.

Justin has had the responsibility of guarding the likes of LeBron James and Ben Simmons and has held his own against those matchups.

The trio of Holiday brothers is making the family proud this season.

As the half-way point of the season approaches, the Holiday brothers will continue to turn heads as both the Pacers and Pelicans trend in the right direction.

Jrue will be looking to have a great performance tonight against his brothers.

After a loss, the Pacers will be wanting to return to Indianapolis with a win and Aaron and Justin will no doubt contribute.
