#15: Pacers vs. Boston Celtics (November 1, 2008)

This was the home opener for the Pacers against the defending champion, Boston Celtics. The Pacers played their hearts out and left everything on the floor including Danny Granger’s front teeth.

Paul Pierce landed on Granger’s head as both players dove for a loose ball. Granger came up with the ball but lost his teeth.

Granger led all Pacers with 20 points in what would be an all-star season.

Pacers won 95-79.

#14: Pacers vs. Detroit Pistons (January 18, 2003)

This was a battle between future rivals that came down to the wire.

Jermain O’Neal buried a jump shot as time expired to send the fans home happy.

Reggie Miller led the Pacers with 21 points.

Chauncey Billups was the leading scorer for Detroit with 21 points as well.

Pacers would win a close one, 88-86.
