#19: Pacers vs. Orlando Magic (November 20, 2004)

This game took place 24 hours after the Malice in the Palace. The fate of the Pacers and their championship aspirations went down in flames due to brawl.

Jermaine O’Neal, Stephen Jackson, and Ron Artest would all be suspended.

Due to the suspensions above and injuries that left Reggie Miller, Jamaal Tinsley, Scot Pollard, and Jonathon Bender unavailable,  the Pacers only had 6 players eligible to play.

Fred Jones and Eddie Gill played the full 48 minutes. The rest of the starting lineup consisted of Austin Croshere, James Jones, and David Harrison. 15th man John Edwards was the lone man off the bench.

The inspirational effort of these guys was incredible. They stood toe-to-toe with Grant Hill, Steve Francis, and Dwight Howard for 48 minutes and almost pulled off the impossible.

Pacers with a hard-fought loss, 83-86.
