3 Goals for Domantas Sabonis in his 2019-2020 season

Emerge as a consistent starter
On a roster that has undergone significant turnover this offseason, the Pacers have a retooled approach and look. The change has coincided with Sabonis being placed into the starting lineup.
In a summer where he was nominated for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award, the promotion to the starting lineup is an opportunity Sabonis will look to seize.
With that being said, in an NBA season that is long and arduous, Coach McMillan and his staff may make changes throughout the season to adhere to the team’s needs. It will be important for Sabonis to make sure to give the coaching staff no reason to remove him from the team’s projected starting lineup.
Sabonis only started five games last season and only has started 90 of the 229 games so far in his career. This newfound role may take time for Sabonis to adjust to but with teammates and a coaching staff that make one another better, expect the power forward to live up to the hype.
