Ever wanted to experience Victor Oladipo’s life as an Indiana Hoosier — well now fans of the Indiana Pacers guard can do just that — for a very high price.

Many of us look back fondly to our college days, just ask Asher Roth. But many of us also wouldn’t go back to that time. If you’re an Indiana Pacers fan of my age, you might have been at a dorm watching a certain Pacers-Pistons game while playing poker and watching any NBA final hopes end in a flurry of punches.

Do you really want to relive that?

There were also many personal mistakes I wouldn’t want to rehash from then, either.

But if you really want to go back to that time, and more precisely live life like an Indiana Hoosier basketball player or coach for a weekend, then Victor Oladipo and the Indiana Hoosiers have just the thing you are looking for.

The Victor Oladipo Fantasy Basketball Experience will let fans play the role of a player or coach and experience what it is like to be an Indiana Hoosier — for $3,995 or $5,995,  if you want the captain’s upgrade.

From the Daily Hoosier:

"The Game On Mouthguards Victor Oladipo Basketball Fantasy Experience in partnership with Indiana Basketball provides fans with the opportunity to spend a weekend in the life of a Hoosiers basketball player. Attendees have the option to play or coach and will receive expert instruction from Victor Oladipo, head coach Archie Miller, the current IU men’s basketball staff, former IU basketball greats, and other celebrity guests. The event will be held in the world-famous Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and the state-of-the-art Hoosiers Basketball practice facilities."

While Oladipo’s name and roles in the experience are more as a host, it did get me thinking about how a few other current and former Indiana Pacers players could host similar events, but also how they could cater the weekend to fit their personal experiences.

The Reggie Miller Experience: Spend a weekend on the campus of UCLA, but any time you do anything significant, an actress playing the role of Cheryl Miller will come along and make sure to overshadow it.

The George Hill Experience: There will be basketball, but you’ll lose an hour or so over the time of the experience explaining you don’t go to Indiana or Purdue.

The Chase Budinger Experience: Actually a volleyball camp.

The Domantas Sabonis Experience: Similar to the Reggie Miller Experience, except everyone keeps bringing up the fact you’re Arvydas Sabonis’ kid.

The Doug McDermott Experience: Get ready to hear your dad yell at you all weekend.

The C.J. Miles Experience: Skip college, go to the NBA, make a lot of money. You don’t know where the experience will be hosted until you’re drafted, but it also won’t cost you any money or make you feign caring about grades, either.

The Bojan Bogdanovic or Austin Croshere Experience: Do you know which one you signed up for?

The Jalen Rose Experience: You’ll have a great weekend and be treated like celebrities both in Ann Arbor and around the country, but in the end, your team will suffer defeat in an awkward fashion. Then years later, we will ‘vacate‘ the experience and pretend as if it didn’t happen as far as the record books are concerned.
