Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo sounded extremely optimistic about his knee in the first episode of The VO Show on YouTube.

Much like WWE’s The New Day, Victor Oladipo believes in the power of positivity. The Indiana Pacers All-Star shooting guard went as far as saying his knee injury was a blessing in the first episode of his new YouTube show, The VO Show.

“I’m going to be the best in the league. Watch what I’m saying. I’m not playing no games, man,” Oladipo said to the camera. “This is a blessing, watch me.”

After seeing Oladipo crumple to the ground and effectively end the Pacers season, it’s encouraging to see just how optimistic Oladipo is.

And if you’re curious about what exactly Oladipo is up to right now, The VO Show should satisfy that curiosity.

As described on Youtube, “In this first episode of Victor Oladipo’s “VO Show” you will get an up close and personal look at a day in his life.  You will get to see Vic getting a haircut at home while goofing around with his entourage. Followed by a behind the scenes look at a basketball skills training session.  Then he will end his day with a physical therapy session rehabbing his knee.”

A pretty standard episode as far as these half-PR, half-reality show projects go, but where else do you get to hear Victor talk about what oysters might do for his libido?

Oh, they also go by the Victor Oladipo Performance Center, the namesake’s gym space he built so he could hoop anytime when he is in Miami. He looks springy enough for a man whose knee fell apart just a few months ago, an encouraging sign for Pacers fans.

Obviously, anything like this is a bit performative. We all act a little different when we know someone’s watching. However, by all accounts, Oladipo is this positive all the time.

When he first came to the Pacers, some in the organization initially thought it was an act as any player wants to make a good first impression, but as time went on, it was clear that this is just the type of guy Oladipo is.

Victor changed his representation to WME not too long ago, and this project is likely some of the fruit of it. We’ll have to see all that Oladipo lets us in on in future episodes, but if nothing else, Pacers fans can enjoy seeing the franchise’s star player living his life.
