No. 8 — Washington Wizards: Cam Reddish, G/F

School: Duke | Class: Freshman | Height: 6’8″ | Weight: 220 | Age: 19

Washington is thrilled to have the opportunity to take an underachieving wing that might have been miscast as a star piece in the first place.

Reddish was one of those players who was always the star, but saw his opportunities limited due to his similarly stellar young teammates. That said, he has scored 14 ppg on unimpressive but also not terrible shooting (36 FG, 34 3P, 78 FT).

Washington would see him as an opportunity. Someone who could play off of Bradley Beal and an eventually healthy John Wall. For the Wizards Reddish is a potential weapon (and starter) who just played college ball with a team that left him in an unflattering role.

They’ll love his length, and “upside” and all those other things that he has yet to demonstrate in college, but so many people see in him. — Jonathan Matthes
