No. 25 — Oklahoma City Thunder: Bruno Fernando, C

School: Maryland | Class: Sophomore | Height: 6’10” | Weight: 235 | Age: 20

The Thunder could easily look to go with a shooter at this spot. However, Fernando is an incredible rebounder that will be able to provide an impact for a team down the road. He provides a large presence in the middle, standing 6’10” with a 7’4” wingspan.

Fernando has a ton of potential on the offensive end, showing the ability to score and pass the ball for Maryland. On the season, Fernando is averaging a double-double (14.2 points and 10.5 rebounds) while shooting 64.7 percent from the floor. He has also knocked down over 75 percent of his career free throws.

The concern around Fernando is simply that he is a project piece that has a lot of development to endure. He is nowhere near polished, so he likely won’t be an incredible impact right off the bat.

The upside should be enough to take a flier on him at the end of the first round. — Luke Parrish
