Darren Collison dunks versus the Pistons
I am taller than Darren Collison. I can’t touch the rim. At my athletic peak, I could get a tennis ball pretty close to dunking, but no chance I could get it with a basketball.
Every NBA player is more athletic than me, so seeing short guys dunk shouldn’t surprise me. But it always does, and seeing 6’0 Darren Collison rise up and throw one down had me grinning cheek to cheek:
Mark Montieth laid out for Pacers.com that apparently Collison and Tyreke Evans are having a contest to see who can dunk the most this season, and this dunk tied the score 1-1. Thaddeus Young told Montieth “We all went crazy because we didn’t think he was going to do it.” This dunk was special to the team, and that makes it a special highlight.

As we approach the final stretch of the season, hopefully, the Indiana Pacers can give us a few more highlights to enjoy this season. But most importantly, let’s hope they keep winning.
