We have officially reached the halfway mark of the 2018-19 Indiana Pacers season. Let’s assign grades to each players performance so far.

After 41 games, the Indiana Pacers sit at 27-14, a solid 6 game improvement over the record of the 2017-18 team.

The halfway point of a season is a great time to be reflective. You are officially past the point of everything being designated by a “small sample size” caveat. Teams are rounding into form. The standings are starting to shake out. The midpoint is a stepping stone for the contenders and pretenders.

The Indiana Pacers first half was excellent.  They rank 2nd in the entire NBA in defensive rating and have the 15th ranked offense, a solid recipe for success. Between new players contributing and returning players adding skills, the team looks like a much-improved squad over last year.

As we come to the middle of the year, it’s time to take a look back over the first half of the season and assess how each individual player who wears the blue and gold has done. Let’s grade them all, from best to worst.
