MOST UNTAPPED POTENTIAL: AARON HOLIDAY

Pacers’ rookie Aaron Holiday was overlooked by some other teams in the draft. The point guard from UCLA fell to the 23rd pick, where the Pacers did not hesitate to take a chance on him. His small stature made some people concerned about whether or not he could hold his own in the NBA, but if the first trimester has shown us anything, it’s that Aaron Holiday is up to the challenge.

Aaron obviously has the pedigree to be a solid pro. With his two older brothers already being successful NBA players, Aaron has been groomed for this opportunity. And he didn’t waste any time getting started. Holiday comes off screens and shoots from anywhere confidently with the silkiest jumper on the team already. He drives to the rim like he’s a seasoned veteran. The rookie still looks a bit lost on defense now and then, but the sky is the limit for this kid as he develops during his first couple years in the league. Jrue, look out. Aaron is coming for ya.
