FIRST TRIMESTER MVP: BOJAN BOGDANOVIC

Wait. Bojan? Somewhat balding, dad-bod Bojan Bogdanovic is the Most Valuable Pacer?

YUP.

With Victor Oladipo missing 11+ games in this first trimester, the Pacers needed someone to step up and carry the offensive workload till he returned. Turner and Sabonis chipped in what they could, but Tyreke Evans, who was pretty much signed to be offensive injury insurance for Vic, has underperformed.

Enter Bojan Bogdanovic, who has scored in double figures in 20 straight contests and is averaging an awesome 20.1 points per game in December. He’s shooting a blistering, league-leading 50% from distance this season and is second on the team only to Domantas Sabonis (a guy that shoots a lot of shots from close range) in overall field goal percentage and points per shot. Regardless of whether or not the influx in points is a result of Oladipo’s absence, Bojan has been nothing short of awesome and has kept this team afloat.

Runners-Up: Myles Turner/Domantas Sabonis
