What do I think comes next for Bojan Bogdanovic financially?

Like with many other guys, I think the Pacers re-sign Bojan if he plays well. They have made it clear they are comfortable paying guys who have played well for them, and Bogdanovic would be no exception.

But the wing could be the position that the team is most interested in upgrading next summer. Bojan’s inconsistency haunted the Pacers for all of January 2018, and perhaps having someone more talented could push the Pacers to new heights. That doesn’t necessarily bar the team from re-signing him, but it does put a ceiling on how much they should be willing to pay him.

My guess? Bojan pulls a two-year, $25 million dollar contract to stay in Indiana. The Pacers could use him off the bench or as a starter in the future, and he showed last season that he fits well here. It makes a lot of sesnse.

Just how much could Sabonis’ next contract be?. dark. Next

Personally, I am hopeful that Bojan becomes more appreciated this season. What he did for the Pacers last season was incredibly important, albeit inconsistent. This season should be no different, and the Pacers are paying him less than he is worth. In a contract year, this is the perfect situation for the team.
