What starting lineup will the Pacers settle on by Game 82?
Aaron Eamer: Injuries aside, the same way they started and finished in 2017-18. There’s been no reason to change things and unless somebody begins to regress quite significantly. Why change a winning formula?
Ethan Krieger: I think the starting lineup at the end of the season ends up being Cory Joseph / Victor Oladipo / Bojan Bogdanovic / Thaddeus Young / Myles Turner. This isn’t because I think Collison falls off the map or that CoJo makes a big jump out of nowhere, but rather that I think Collison is the most likely Pacer to be traded this season.

Behind the Buck Pass
Collison had a career year last season in which he led the league in three-point percentage, but his contract is up after this year and he’s 31 years old. His expiring contract and his solid level of play will be coveted by teams looking to shore up their rotations at the trade deadline.
Young and Bogdanovic are other expiring vets that fit this same bill, but the Pacers are deeper at guard than they are at the forward positions, so I think that makes Collison the most likely to be traded.
Pfeifer: Indiana’s starting lineup by the final game of the season should be the same lineup we know and love (Collison, Oladipo, Bogdanovic, Young, Turner) barring any injuries. This is the best five-man group Indiana has, featuring a great balance of scoring, defense, and spacing.
I could see the Indiana Pacers inserting Tyreke Evans somewhere into the starting lineup if they lack offense, but I’m confident in this group.
Furr: I think it will be Darren Collison, Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, Domantas Sabonis, and Myles Turner. I think Sabonis wins the starting job by the end of the year, regardless of whether Thad Young or Myles Turner gets traded.
Young is awesome, and I hope they keep him; he’s one of my favorite players to watch. I believe it’s Sabonis’ time, though.
