When Darren Collison signed a two-year, $20 million contract last summer, the reactions were pretty mixed.
He had shot over 40 percent from three-point range for the two seasons prior, but he had already spent some time in Indiana that was pretty underwhelming. He was supplanted in the starting lineup by George Hill and he departed the team soon after.
He proved everyone wrong with an incredible season last year. He canned an absurd percentage of his three-pointers and had the leagues best assist/turnover ratio, showing his newfound emphasis on taking care of the ball. He refined all of his skills and he fits perfectly in the Pacers system, making him incredibly impactful.
