The 2018-19 Indiana Pacers Season officially kicks off today with the first preseason game. Here’s everything to watch for in the four games.

Indiana Pacers basketball is here, folks.

Today, the team kicks off the preseason in Houston against the Rockets. They then play every other day in opposing arenas, against the Grizzlies, Cavaliers, and Bulls respectively before returning home to prepare for the regular season, which begins on October 17th.

Like most sports, the NBA preseason doesn’t tell us much. It satisfies our craving for NBA basketball, but in actuality, the teams don’t really show off everything that they will implore during the regular season. That’s not to say these games don’t matter – they do and are useful for skill development – but they aren’t necessarily good for gauging which teams will be good or not.
