Contracts can be confusing. To help make them easier, we will break down the monetary situation of every player on the Indiana Pacers roster and what to expect going forward. In this edition, we take a look at Alize Johnson.

When the Indiana Pacers selected Alize Johnson with the 50th pick in the 2018 NBA draft, nobody really knew what to think. Second round picks are rarely well-known players, and Johnson went to a mid-major school. He was a mystery.

Then summer league came and went, and the Alize hype train picked up a ton of passengers. Johnson showed an endless motor and a solid feel for the game that culminated with him posting a stat line of 12.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per contest. It was only summer league, but those stats are solid.

They were also good enough to earn Johnson a two-year contract with the Indiana Pacers. Let’s take a look at the deal and see what could happen for Alize financially as he matures as a player.
