Kyle O’Quinn’s projected role this coming season

Kyle O’Quinn is the garbage man. His role will be to clean up everyone’s mess and do all of the dirty work that doesn’t show up in the stat sheet. The Thad Young of the second unit. Luckily for the Indiana Pacers, O’Quinn is perfectly capable and willing to fulfill that role.

He likely will only play 12-17 minutes per game but expect the Indiana Pacers to be better defensively when he is on the floor. The fact that O’Quinn is a low usage player meshes well with higher usage player like Victor Oladipo and Tyreke Evans. O’Quinn will be a player that many fans won’t even notice but he will be one of the most important bench players for the Pacers in 2018.
