Lance Stephenson will follow in teammate Victor Oladipo’s footsteps and will host a youth basketball camp later in the summer.

Can you imagine a more fun event than going to a basketball camp hosted by Lance Stephenson?

It is hard to come up with anything. Thankfully for some lucky Indiana Pacers fans, that imagined event may be a reality. Basketball City, a basketball complex/facility in New York City, announced recently that Stephenson would be hosting one of their many youth camps throughout the course of the summer:

Basketball City is a partner of the NBA players association, among many other associations, so they were able to land a wide variety of NBA players to host youth camps in the summer. Stephenson joins Kyle Anderson of the San Antonio Spurs, Shaun Livingston of the Golden State Warriors, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson from the Brooklyn Nets, and Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets. A few other players will host various events throughout the offseason as well.

Last summer, Stephenson was supposed to host a basketball camp in New York, but at a different location. However, according to EventBrite.com, the camp was canceled and never actually occurred. Thankfully, this time it looks like it is going to happen.

Lance Stephenson has a connection to the city since he grew up and went to high school in the Brooklyn area. Lance will host the youth camp during its sixth week. The dates will range from July 23 through the 27th.
