Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo’s grip on the state of Indiana grows tighter as he is set to host a basketball camp there in August.

Victor Oladipo’s grip on the city of Indianapolis and the state of Indiana is only getting tighter. The Indiana Pacers guard already stole the mayorship, but now he looks to endear himself even more by hosting a basketball camp in the Hoosier State.

Park Tudor School in Indianapolis will host the camp on August 4th and 5th. The camp is for kids in first grade up to high school seniors in the 12th grade.

The 1-6 graders start at 10 a.m. and go until 1, while 7-12 graders will start at 2 p.m. and go until 5 p.m. It is $199 for the two-day camp, with registration starting on Tuesday. There are group rates as well.

According to the camp’s website campers will receive a souvenir autograph from Victor Oladipo, a camp team photo with Victor Oladip, a limited-edition Victor Oladipo Basketball ProCamp t-shirt, and additional upgrades available during checkout.

You can register online for the camp.

For those of us creating content here at 8 Points, 9 Seconds, we can hope for one of two outcomes from these camps.

Victor Oladipo son’s somebody, as he did two years ago at one of his camps…

Or a camper turns the table on him, as we saw last summer.

Either way, we’ll be hosting any shenanigans from these camps here on the website.

It’s great to see Oladipo hosting one of his camps in Indiana. We saw the connection both he and the state have with each other, so it is only fitting that the most popular Indiana Pacers player is setting up shop in Indy this August.
