Thaddeus Young Wizards Pacers
WASHINGTON, DC – MARCH 4: Thaddeus Young

POWER FORWARD

Matchup: Wizards: Markieff Morris v Pacers: Thaddeus Young

Advantage: Pacers.

Analysis: Young’s value to the Pacers is deeper than any statistical output, he does everything. That doesn’t mean Morris is chopped liver, Morris is a splendid power forward who will probably not be an all-star but should be able to be a starter on a playoff team for a long time. The matchup with Young would be a tough one for Morris. In the area that you’d think Morris would have the advantage, on the glass, Young has been excelling as of late while Morris is waning (Young 9.4 per game over the last eight games, Morris 4.6). Young is also scoring better than Morris (Young 15.4 PPG v Morris 10.8 PPG). Thad has the advantage here.
