Matchup: Wizards: John Wall v Pacers: Victor Oladipo

Advantage: Pacers.

Analysis: In lieu of a traditional guard breakdown I’m pairing each team’s star guards together for this exercise and Oladipo wins it. Vic is on a career year and after a very recent shooting swoon, the Pacers’ Black Panther has found himself again (25.8 ppg, 64.2 FG%, 5.3 RPG, 6.8 APG over the last four outings). Vic is beginning to peak at the right time. Wall, on the other hand, is not. He’s still shaking off the shooting rust from his more recent injury break.
