Media Day in Indiana was filled with memorable moments this year. Here are some of the best tweets from the occasion.
The Indiana Pacers held their annual media day at their brand new practice facility on Monday, and all the stars were out for the occasion. By all the stars, I’m of course referring to Damien Wilkins and Trey McKinney-Jones.

Nothing says the NBA is back like this shot of Lance Stephenson @World_Wide_Wob pic.twitter.com/XPHFnetztV

Lance Stephenson. In a pumpkin mask. Awaiting your tricks and/or treats. What more could an NBA fan ask for? Stay tuned for more costumes from Born Ready.

First things first: shouts to the white jerseys and white background. Second, what on earth is this picture? It looks like Myles Turner and Victor Oladipo are about to drop a white rap album.

Lance Stephenson is aggressively likable, and I have neither the patience nor the time of day for those who say otherwise.
Victor Oladipo on the crazy conference imbalance: “Man, it’s like the West is on steroids” pic.twitter.com/U6qqsog62D
— Shane Young (@YoungNBA) September 25, 2017
Oladipo seemed relieved to be out after his one-year stint in the bloodbath that is the Western Conference. However, it’s unclear if that relief is brought on more by the easier competition of the East or the fact that he no longer has to endure the laser stares of Russell Westbrook after missing a shot in the playoffs.
Darren Collison on Lance Stephenson: “Lance is going to prove he belongs. … He shouldn’t have ever left.” pic.twitter.com/q7P4GR2TUi
— Scott Agness (@ScottAgness) September 25, 2017
Collison was complimentary of many of the guys on the roster besides Lance as well. In particular, he mentioned his excitement to develop chemistry with Myles Turner, comparing their relationship to the one he had with DeMarcus Cousins.

Lance Stephenson now. Lance Stephenson tomorrow. Lance Stephenson until he starts to be really bad again.
Myles Turner: “Given the opportunity, yeah I’ll shoot more threes, but that’s not going to be the focal point of my game”
— Shane Young (@YoungNBA) September 25, 2017
I’m torn with how to react to this quote. On one hand, it could be that Turner wants to shoot more 3s but doesn’t want to start something with Nate McMillan because he knows that’s not how the head coach views the game. On the other, it could be another example of the big man seeing himself as more of a low-post brute than a stretch five.
