The Indiana Pacers won their third straight game and moved to the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference following a win over the Orlando Magic.
The Good: The Indiana Pacers won their third straight game, and also moved up to 7th place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Chicago Bulls lost tonight. It’s good to see Paul George continue his unbelievable play, as he poured in 37 points.
Indiana needs to keep winning to control their fate, but the path got a little easier.
The Bad: The only negative that really comes to mind about tonight’s game is that the defense could have been better. The Magic scored 38 points in the 1st quarter.
MVP: Paul George, who is averaging about 30 points per game over his last nine games, put on a show once again. He scored 37 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and handed out 6 assists.
LVP: On Orlando’s side, Nikola Vucevic was a non-factor. The starting center shot just 4 of 12 from the field and had some noticeable defensive lapses.
X-Factor: When Thaddeus Young shot the ball, he converted more often than not. Thad shot 7 of 8 from the field, including 7 of 7 in the first half. He finished with 14 points.
