The Indiana Pacers Were Bad, Then Good, Then Bad, But Still Beat the LA Clippers
By Ryan Eggers
The Indiana Pacers fend off a late comeback from the Los Angeles Clippers as they seal their second road win of the season, putting their record at 10-10.
The Good: Paul George and C.J. Miles are back and playing well. The Indiana Pacers were able to beat one of the best teams in the league, again, for their first season sweep of the year. The team is back at .500. They fell behind by a ton early and didn’t just sit on their behinds.
The Bad: Slow starts shouldn’t happen to such a degree, even with a rusty Paul George, and there’s no reason the Clippers should’ve had any life late in the 4th. Hack-a-DeAndre isn’t fun to watch.
MVP: Paul George. He came back strong and despite not having an amazing night shooting, he found multiple ways to stay involved, including some flashy passes. It’s great to see him back.
LVP: For the Pacers? Myles Turner. He just wasn’t with it tonight. He got plenty of opportunities- open ones- yet couldn’t find the bottom of the net. He also got heavily outrebounded by Jordan.
X-Factor: Rodney Stuckey. His second quarter led the bench as the Pacers came back from down 15 early on in the game. 16-3-3 off the bench? The Pacers will take that all day.
