The Good: The Indiana Pacers did enough for the NBA to credit them with a win.

The Bad: Most of the game. The Pelicans mostly had their way with this Pacers team, despite Anthony Davis leaving the game early. The Pacers did pick it up in the third quarter along the way to finally wrangling control in the 4th, but they spent much of this game looking like the inferior team.

MVP: Ian Mahinmi. Secured a double-double and probably had the best game of his career.

LVP: George Hill. 2-9 from the floor, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 turnovers. Wasn’t abjectly terrible, but never really had an effect on the game.

X-Factor: Lavoy Allen. He was the Pacers best player during a stretch that they were getting killed in, and did a lot of little things to keep them within striking distance.

PAUL GEORGE. D.
13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals. Wasn’t particularly good on defense despite the 3 steals, and early foul trouble kept him from getting any rhythm. 3-13 shooting is ugly.
. Small Forward. Indiana Pacers

Wound up with 10 points (all of which seemed critical at the time) and 8 assists. 6 turnovers is ugly, but he came up big for the Pacers when they needed him.

<span style=. Shooting Guard. Indiana Pacers. MONTA ELLIS. B+

7 points and 5 boards on 2-9 shooting, and had more turnovers than assists, a.k.a “The Roy Hibbert Special”
. Point Guard. Indiana Pacers. GEORGE HILL. D

Power Forward. Indiana Pacers. LAVOY ALLEN. B-.
7 points on a perfect 3-3 from the field. Only 2 rebounds, oddly. Did a lot of Lavoy Allen things, generally mucking things up in ways that don’t show in the final box score.

A+.
7-12 from the field, 3-4 from the line. 17 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks. Probably the best game of his career, and the Pacers desperately needed it tonight.
. Center. Indiana Pacers. IAN MAHINMI

Looked pretty bad in the first half, but made some big plays in the second. 4-9 shooting for 8 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 insane Barry Sanders like spinning run to the bucket to end the 3rd quarter.
. Point Guard. Indiana Pacers. RODNEY STUCKEY. B-.

Indiana Pacers. JORDAN HILL. C.
4 points and 5 rebounds in 13 minutes? Good. 4 turnovers in 13 minutes? Not so good.
. Center

5 points and 4 boards 15 minutes. Wasn’t involved heavily for quite a while, but made his presence felt with energy towards the end of his day.
. Small Forward. Indiana Pacers. GLENN ROBINSON III. C+

B-.
Looked bad in the first half (like most of the Pacers), got absolutely wrecked for a solid quarter by Ryan Anderson, but found his stroke eventually. 15 points on 50% shooting with 7 rebounds, a steal and a block.
. Power Forward. Indiana Pacers. C.J. MILES

C+.
5 points, 3 rebounds, a gorgeous block and an assist in 11 minutes of action. Looked like he was wearing oven mitts over his hands, but provided energy and decent defense.
. Center. Indiana Pacers. MYLES TURNER
