4. If the Pacers, as expected, get the 11th pick, who would you most like to see Indiana end up with?

Washburn: I think that Jerian Grant and Kelly Oubre would be good fits. Grant would give the Pacers some size in the backcourt and can create both for himself and others. He could definitely play with both George Hill and C.J. Miles in different lineups, giving them lots of versatility. Oubre would be more of a “let’s hope he’s like Paul George” type pick. He’s got a lot of upside, as he’s a stellar athlete with a smooth stroke — but he didn’t dominate in college the way one might have expected. By the way, I’m not a fan of Myles Turner. I just wanted everyone to know that.

Gibson: Myles Turner is a likely candidate at the 11th spot, and ESPN’s Mock Draft Lottery has Indiana picking him. It seems Bird and Vogel are ready to part ways with Hibbert for the right price, but if they do that then Indiana needs to get a young player like Turner to groom behind their current options.

Bishop: Trey Lyles of Kentucky. The Pacers were among a few teams that called his high-school coach to get a perspective of what kind of player he is like on and off the court. They need someone to fill in before David West breaks down. At a long 6’10″, he displayed in the tourney he can play at the restricted area or the rim, courtesy of a sweet mid-range jumper and a sound ability to score underneath.

Ochoa: I would love to see the Pacers draft Frank Kaminsky. Versatile big guys are taking over the NBA. It would be great to have one on the Pacers, because right now they have two centers with extremely sub-par offensive skills and two power forwards who are towards the end of their careers. Frank displayed in college, for four years, that he has the work ethic to improve his game. He can play in the post on both sides of the ball. He has incredible range for his size, solid mobility, and he’s the type of player that can create nonstop mismatches on the floor. I’m a big fan of Frank [the Tank?] as long as he get’s a new nickname ASAP.

Medworth: It seems like Myles Turner gets thrown around a lot as an option, but I’m actually interested in Jerian Grant. He can score on his own, which is something the Pacers so desperately need. Heck, any scorers in the draft, we welcome you to the Indiana Pacers.
