True of False: The Indiana Pacers will beat the Celtics tomorrow?

Ochoa: True. This is a hypothetical 3-game winning streak, including 2 of the teams that are currently ahead of them in the playoff race. The Celtics are playing good ball right now, but I think the Pacers will pull off a win on the road. A win in Boston could catapult the Pacers into that final playoff spot.

Donahue: False — mostly because of the defensive reasons I mention regarding the Brooklyn game, but also because I think Boston is just a tough match up for the Indiana Pacers. Boston is soundly coached, and their perimeter pressure is something the Pacers struggle against. Add the SEGABABA factor, and I think the Pacers fall short.

Furr: False. I think, as long as Isaiah Thomas plays, the Pacers will struggle. George Hill is a great defensive point guard, but he can struggle against the quicker 1s in the NBA, and Isaiah Thomas is not only blazingly fast but a creative and deceptive finisher. Toss in the fact that the Pacers seem to always struggle with the “5 out” offensive philosophy, and I think they’ll be in trouble

Gibson: True. I think both of these games are coin-flips, but I might as well pick Indiana, right? I think they’ll drop one of these road games, I just don’t know which.

Washburn: False. Winning on the second night of a road back-to-back is never easy anyways, but this Celtics team has given the Pacers problems, and Brad Stevens is a wizard who also has the luxury of being close to Frank Vogel and knowing the Pacers better than he knows most teams. Expect Boston to increase their lead over the Pacers tomorrow.
