#6. 2013 NBA Draft

  • Selected Solomon Hill (#23)
  • Traded away second-round pick for cash

We honestly can´t judge this one yet.

Solomon Hill got no meaningful minutes in his rookie year — and that is to be expected for a 23rd pick on a contending team.

Personally, I haven´t seen much that suggests he will have a budding future as an NBA contributor, but who knows.

Perhaps he learned a lot as a rookie and can come back next year as a student of the game who knows how to play defense. His coachability and professionalism were listed as postive traits as he entered the draft.

Then again, maybe he will be a nobody.

Perhaps he was just another older player (born just two months before Paul George) coming from a named college (Arizona) who the Pacers liked due to their bias for those two things.

We can´t really know until next season.
