Signature Shot

There’s one way Roy Hibbert can improve this summer, and that’s finding a signature shot or move.  He’s definitely worked on his game around the basket with his soft touch.  But he can get even better with his jump hook, which could be his signature shot.  Or that step to the basket, and laying it up.  Whatever Hibbert can develop as a shot that we know he’s going to make all of the time, that’s what he has to do.  Just like most men have had.  Patrick Ewing always did that move across the lane (where I thought he would take three steps) to get a basket.  Hakeem Olajuwon usually had a nice sky hook. Tim Duncan is the master of the bank shot. Now it’s time for Hibbert to give the Pacers that shot that they can count on. Last summer, Hibbert worked with Duncan to improve his game, and I think he would be well suited to do that again.
