24. 111. 100. Final. 94

The Indiana Pacers played their best defensive game of the young season in an 111-94 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

The Good: Defensively, this was the best game the Pacers have played by far. Jeff Teague had a big game with 21 points and 6 assists as he continues to fight out of his shooting slump. The Pacers had six different players in double-figures tonight and shot 53.5% from the field. They played team basketball and it got them the win.

The Bad: Paul George was ejected for kicking the basketball out of frustration and accidentally hitting a fan in the face. Some sort of action by the NBA will likely be made. He apologized to the fan.

The Pacers couldn’t get Al Jefferson going, but overall, not many negatives tonight.

MVP: Jeff Teague. Had his best game as an Indiana Pacer, and shot the ball very efficiently from the floor — 9 of 14 from the field and 3 of 5 from 3-point range. Hopefully, he can keep this momentum going.

LVP: Glenn Robinson III. Only played in 8 minutes, but got some meaningful time with Paul George ejected. The other Pacers’ simply made more contributions.

X-Factor: Thaddeus Young. When the Bulls tried to make a run, dependable Thaddeus Young responded for the Pacers. Made some shots (6 of 10 for 12 points), played great defense, and made hustle plays. He had 5 rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal.

B-. Played some great defense throughout the game and set the tone early for the Pacers, but only finished with 13 points in 28 minutes. PAUL GEORGE

Indiana Pacers. MONTA ELLIS. B+. Was the definition of unselfish tonight. Got everyone involved, recording 8 assists. 18 assists for Monta over his last two games. Also grabbed 7 rebounds. Took just 2 shots, making one of them for 2 points in 32 minutes.. Shooting Guard
