No. 1: Domantas Sabonis

In a non-surprise, Domantas Sabonis has to come in as the team’s best player. Whether you think that is a good thing or not, it is a simple truth right now. No other Pacer is a back-to-back All-Star and top-five rebounder in the NBA. Sabonis is the most dominant player in the rotation right now.

He is gunning for the league’s rebounding title this season after finishing second in the league last season with 12.0 boards per game. Sabonis is a very good rebounder and offensive hub for the Pacers.

Sabonis has to step up and lead the team this season to prove that he is capable of being the franchise guy. The tandem of Sabonis and Turner should work out on the defensive end with Turner deterring shots at the rim and Sabonis gathering the misses and leading the break.

Indiana needs the best out of Domas this season and I think they will get that. They do not have a player as versatile right now and that is why he is a two-time All-Star. Can he shoot for his third-straight appearance?
