NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Final first-round predictions before the draft
NBA Mock Draft 20th Pick: Atlanta Hawks – Jeremiah Robinson-Earl
The Atlanta Hawks, fresh off a surprising Conference Finals appearance, will face a defining question this offseason with regards to the future of John Collins. While he is a great fit for their core, he’s not indispensable, especially with his expensive free agency possibly affecting their financial maneuvering around Trae Young and other key players. They would be logical to look for an alternative for the athletic forward in the NBA draft.
While initially tabbed as a second-rounder, Villanova’s Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has been making noise lately as a possible late first-rounder. In theory, his agility bodes well in the open floor. Combine that with his reliable outside shot, and you’re looking at a frontcourt piece who should be able to thrive next to Clint Capela.
