Reggie Bullock will give the Indiana Pacers another potent 3-and-D weapon

At one point or another, the Indiana Pacers are gonna have to overpay to keep Doug McDermott, especially with his skillset pretty much in-demand across the league. While not keeping him will look like a cost-cutting move for the team, the front office has bigger fish to fry with regards to having more cap flexibility to re-sign the starters in following years.

A sign-and-trade with a team in need of offense, like the New York Knicks, make a lot of sense. In return, they can package Reggie Bullock and Kevin Knox to the Pacers, arming the team with additional depth in the wing and frontcourt positions.

Bullock is a legitimate 3-and-D guy who can effectively slow down the opponent’s best perimeter threat. Better yet, he’s a wonderful spot up shooter and brings hustle and grit to the team while Knox, despite having a swiftly shrinking role in recent years, still possesses upside as a combo forward who can score in bunches.
