Jeremy Lamb’s reliable scoring and expiring contract will invite some rental seekers to trade with the Indiana Pacers

It’s no secret that Jeremy Lamb‘s stock on the Indiana Pacers has plummeted after his ACL injury effectively rendered him replaceable with in-house options. With the likes of Aaron Holiday, Edmond Sumner and Oshae Brissett all warranting increased minutes to showcase their worth to the team next season, there may not be ample room for the veteran scorer to remain with the Blue and Gold.

Fortunately, his expiring 10.5 million contract should be a popular target for teams in need of bench scoring and spot-up shooting without the risk of hurting their cap flexibility, especially with the free agent market being staler than expected. After all, despite his boatload of absences this season, the  nine-year veteran averaged double-digits points for the the fourth straight season, including an always-welcome 40.6 percent rate on triples in only 21.3 minutes per outing.

Best Fits: New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston
