Indiana Pacers: 3 players that will benefit most from Caris LeVert
By Luke Parrish
T.J. Warren
The Pacers had high hopes for T.J. Warren this season after he broke out in the bubble. However, an injury has sidelined him for most of the season and there is no timetable for his return as things stand. He was set to be the team’s leading scorer again this season as they transitioned to the new coaching staff.
However, the injury has drastically changed the course of the team but they have not fallen off expectations. Indiana is still a threat in the Eastern Conference despite injuries derailing the roster and Victor Oladipo being sent out of town. When Warren returns, the offense is only going to get better.
I view LeVert and Warren in a similar light as scoring options and I think both guys can play almost anywhere on the court, aside from center. LeVert is a better ball-handler and creator but both guys can score from just about anywhere. Having both of them together, while both battle back from injuries, will allow the Pacers to stagger them. They will split minutes and play the same role as each other, at least in my hopeful mind.
