Markus Howard – Marquette

Another option is Markus Howard, the 5-foot-11 senior out of Marquette. What he lacks in height, he seems to more than makeup for in the box score. If Howard were to be drafted by the Pacers, he’d be the shortest player on the roster. However, Howard has been an offensive machine at Marquette, consistently scoring 30 or more points.

Howard is a prolific three-point shooter, a potentially perfect addition for the Pacers if the team makes drastic changes in the offensive scheme. Markus Howard covers his inefficiencies and weaknesses in certain aspects of his game by scoring an insane number of points.

Howard seems to use his height disadvantage as an opportunity to get to the charity stripe often, often turning free throw attempts into free baskets for his team. Howard would join this Pacers team as the shortest guy, but he could potentially make a sizable impact.
