What do I think comes next for Aaron Holiday financially?

This is truly impossible to say until we see him play.

I have had fun guessing what I think is going to happen to every member of the team in this section for this entire series. But for Holiday, it is an impossible exercise. There’s a situation where he becomes Donovan Mitchell in year one. He becomes a prolific scorer and passable defender and he would be worthy of a max contract after his rookie deal ended were that to occur.

There’s a scenario where he is Elfrid Payton – a good enough NBA player who will get a second contract, but not a very big one.

And there’s a chance he is Tyler Ennis and his current deal is the only deal he ever gets. These are all possible outcomes, and making an educated guess is impossible until we see him play.

Next. Victor Oladipo and his bargain contract. dark

I’ll make a wild guess and say that Holiday’s next contract is three years, $30 million. There, I did it. But who cares about Aaron Holiday’s next contract. Let’s be happy he is on his current good one. And more importantly, let’s get pumped to watch him play NBA basketball.
