What we don’t love about Aaron Holiday

Holiday’s 6’1″185-pound frame will limit his ability on the defensive end. To add onto his frame, Holiday isn’t super quick and has average athleticism for a point guard.

This will hurt him on the defensive end, especially against the top-tier point guards in the NBA. In the Summer League, Trae Young was able to expose Holiday’s lack of lateral agility on easy straight line drives.

Despite his great vision, Holiday often tries to do too much, resulting in turnovers. His 21.8 turnover percent in his junior season is poor and he will need to improve his decision making at the next level.

Luckily he has Darren Collison as a mentor, who happened to have the best assist to turnover ratio in the NBA last season.
