There isn’t much to say here with Armani Moore. Nothing necessarily grabs you about him, except that for a wing he’s an astonishingly good shot-blocker. He was probably the best player on a Tennessee team that struggled last season, where he put up 12.2 PPG and 7.6 RPG along with 1.6 BPG and 1.2 SPG.

He wasn’t invited to the NBA combine, and there has been little overall talk about him and his possible NBA future either. He by no means had a bad college career, but he didn’t really do enough to establish himself as a player who can make it to the next level.

For fun, though, here are some shot-blocking highlights:

As awesome as that looks, Moore’s college career will likely be remembered most for this blatant flop:

It’s a shame, but don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. And hey, he actually did get the call here.

Moore has and will be working out with a lot of different teams, but the odds of anything tangible coming out of it are slim. A wing with the shot-blocking ability and stealing skills of Moore would be appreciated on any NBA team, but you have to be NBA-ready in other areas, which he seemingly isn’t. The Pacers are likely looking at him just in case he has something to offer that we missed in his college career. Until he’s proven that, he probably isn’t a guy you need to have on your radar come draft night. It’s likely you’ll see him during Summer League, though.

Next: Rasheed Sulaimon, Maryland
