McKey played in Seattle for 6 seasons before he arrived in Indiana, where he would stay the majority of his career. He was an excellent defender and was a central piece to all of the 90s playoffs teams that battled with the Knicks and Bulls. Again, he was never a total standout. Never really led the league in any statistic nor made an all-star team. However, he was consistent, stayed in Indiana, and saw a lot of playoff success in his time here.
