The Pacers need a power forward at the trade deadline, this would make that happen.

Our grade? We would give this trade an A, which makes us think that the Pacers might have to give up a little more in order to make it happen. Swapping Goga for Grant Williams and only having to pay a late first round pick feels like a steal, especially given how important Williams has been to the Celtics in the postseason the last few years.

It is also entirely possible that the Nets get offers for more first round picks altogether which may persuade them to move away from Boston, especially if they are not as high on Jaylen Brown as a long-term piece for their future and a player that could anchor their team.

However, the Pacers need to be looking at these big-time trades not as opportunities to bring in players like Durant or Irving, but as opportunities to capitalize on other desperate big-market franchises that are clamoring for big-name stars. It is in that moment that value typically presents itself.
