The Pacers get some role players as well as draft compensation.

The Clippers are looking to win quickly and seem willing to spend for it. Because of the failure of the John Wall experiment as well as lack of leadership, the Clippers seem unable to pull themselves up the standings. This trade would deliver another veteran player with both offensive and defensive prowess to Los Angeles.

John Wall is currently dead weight that the Clippers can use to salary match, so essentially the Clippers would be spending a first-round pick in order to upgrade from Zubac to Turner. Is this a possibility?

It depends on how desperate Steve Ballmer is to win in his new arena with his high priced team. If he is extremely motivated, nobody is going to deny that Turner is a significant upgrade from Zubac. If he is getting tired of waiting for Paul George and Leonard to deliver a championship? He may decide keeping draft capital is the way to go.

But the Clippers are not the only show in LA.
